Examination and diagnostics
Examination and diagnostics: Since the All on 4 implant placement method is based on digital planning, we take a detailed 3D image of the jaw (CBCT) and perform intraoral scanning before the procedure. This avoids the classic, unpleasant taking of impressions with impression material. A digital impression of your jaw allows us to precisely plan the surgery and prosthetics even before the procedure itself.
Implant placement
The dental implant placement procedure takes place under intravenous sedation with the constant presence of an anesthesiologist. First, we remove teeth with poor prognoses, then we insert 4 to 6 dental implants into specific anatomical areas of the jaw with the highest bone quality. This ensures maximum stability and often eliminates the need for bone grafting.
Temporary fixed teeth
A few hours after the procedure, the patient receives their first temporary fixed teeth. Because our laboratory uses 3D printing technology, we can produce the first temporary bridge practically immediately after the procedure. This provisional allows the patient normal function during the healing period (osseointegration). Usually, it is replaced within a few days with a temporary bridge made of a slightly more durable material that lasts for several months during healing - until the final prosthetic construction.
Fabrication and insertion of the All on 4 product
In our laboratory, we use top-of-the-line CAD/CAM technology (computer-aided design and milling). Since the laboratory is part of the center, the dental technician can actively participate in determining the color and shape of the teeth, which ensures a superior aesthetic result that is perfectly in harmony with your face.
